About the Role

The Care Team Assistant will provide direct care and support to patients, including communication with patients and families, infection prevention and control, mental health and wellness, safe handling and mobility, and safety protocols.

  • Provide direct care and support to patients in a primary health care setting
  • Communicate effectively with patients and families
  • Implement infection prevention and control measures
  • Support mental health and wellness initiatives
  • Ensure safe handling and mobility of patients
  • Implement safety protocols
About You

We are seeking a candidate with:

  • Completion of the Continuing Care Assistant Program
  • Provincial Certification with Department of Health and Wellness
  • Current Basic Life Support Certification
  • Effective listening and communication skills
  • Competencies outlined in the CCA Competency Framework
Hours and Compensation

This is a permanent full-time position with 75 hours bi-weekly. The hourly rate is $25.70.

Successful candidates may be eligible for our benefits package, which includes health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage, as well as a defined benefit pension plan.
