Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Process guest check-ins, check-outs, room assignments, and room change/late check-out requests in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Secure payment and activate/reissue room keys as needed.
  • Verify and adjust billing for guests to ensure accuracy and fairness.
  • Communicate with housekeeping to track room status and guest concerns.
  • File guest paperwork or documentation as required.
  • Operate the telephone switchboard station to handle guest calls and requests.
  • Run and check daily reports, contingency lists, and credit card authorization reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Supply guests with directions and information to enhance their stay.
  • Answer, record, and process all guest calls, requests, questions, or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Arrange transportation for guests/visitors as needed.
  • Count and secure bank at the beginning and end of shift to maintain accuracy and security.
  • Cash-guests' checks, process all payment types, vouchers, paid-outs, charges, and provide change as required.
  • Notify Loss Prevention/Security of any reports of theft or suspicious activity.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
  • No related work experience required, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask with ease.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Physical ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods and lift objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds.
