Job Title: Respiratory Therapist

Cypress Regional Hospital is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team in Swift Current. As a key member of our Respiratory Services department, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our hospital.

Job Summary:

As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing general and specialized respiratory treatments, diagnostic testing, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, and other related duties. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide respiratory treatments, including oxygen therapy, ventilation, and aerosol therapy
  • Conduct diagnostic testing, such as pulmonary function tests and arterial blood gas analysis
  • Administer hyperbaric oxygen therapy and other specialized treatments as required
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
Requirements:
  • Respiratory Therapy diploma (RT)
  • Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in pulmonary function testing, critical care, and cardiac stress testing
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
