Job Description

As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing general and specialized respiratory treatments, diagnostic testing, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, and other related duties. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide respiratory treatments, including oxygen therapy, ventilation, and aerosol therapy
  • Conduct diagnostic testing, such as pulmonary function tests and arterial blood gas analysis
  • Administer hyperbaric oxygen therapy and other specialized treatments
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
Requirements:
  • Respiratory Therapy diploma (RT)
  • Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)
  • Registered/eligible with Saskatchewan College of Respiratory Therapist (SCRT)
  • Registered/eligible with the Canadian Society of Respiratory Therapist (CSRT)
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in pulmonary function testing
  • Experience in critical care
  • Experience in cardiac stress testing
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support certificate (ACLS)
Competencies:
