Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Peoples Park Tower.

Job Summary

The Licensed Practical Nurse will provide high-quality patient care in a retirement home setting, working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional care and support to our residents.

Responsibilities
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Apply aseptic techniques to maintain a safe and clean environment
  • Provide wound care and dressing changes
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing and dressing
  • Document patient information and progress
Requirements
  • Eligible for licensure as a practical nurse in the province/territory of work
  • CPR Certificate
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
