Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Peoples Park Tower. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall well-being of our residents.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Apply aseptic techniques to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Conduct vital signs and monitor patient conditions
  • Document patient information and progress
  • Provide education and support to patients and families
  • Respond to emergencies and provide first aid when necessary
Requirements:
  • Eligible for licensure as a practical nurse in the province/territory of work
  • CPR and First Aid Certificates
  • Criminal record check and Child/Adult Abuse Registry checks
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts and on-call
