Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Join the Flynn Group of Companies team as a skilled Maintenance Technician at our Vancouver Branch. As a key member of our facilities operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and systems.

A Day in the Life
  • Troubleshoot and repair a variety of equipment, including saws, shears, brake presses, vacuum lifters, CNC equipment, cranes, engines, pneumatic systems, forklifts, and fleet vehicles.
  • Assist with the installation of new equipment, rebuilds, system modifications, and upgrades.
  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance tasks, including checking fluid levels, replacing filters, and performing other necessary actions to ensure equipment runs smoothly.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, repairs, labor hours, and materials consumed.
  • Ensure a clean and safe work environment, adhering to WorkSafe BC and CSA safety standards.
Requirements
  • Experience in a related field, such as millwright, heavy-duty mechanic, or small engine repair, is an asset.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge, including familiarity with tools and materials.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Class 5 driver's license.
  • Welding experience and Red Seal certification are considered assets.
  • Electrical troubleshooting skills are also an asset.
