**Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist Wanted**

A Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist is sought to join the Compass Program, providing clinical support and system navigation for healthcare providers across British Columbia and the Yukon.

The Compass Program offers telephone consultation, virtual meetings, and connection to online and in-person education, with a focus on providing well-attuned care for patients and families close to their homes.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Provide clinical advice and evidence-based treatment recommendations to healthcare providers
  • Support healthcare providers in navigating the healthcare system and identifying resources
  • Work primarily from home, with occasional attendance at educational and team-based activities
  • Opportunities for travel to areas across BC and the Yukon for interdisciplinary teaching and system familiarization

**Requirements:**

  • Previous experience in the assessment and treatment of children and youth with acute and/or complex presentations of psychiatric disorders
  • Excellent communication skills and experience working with rural and remote communities
  • Registered with and eligible for membership with Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC) and the College of Physician and Surgeons of British Columbia (CPSBC)
