Job Title: Heavy Duty Bus and Coach Mechanic

New Flyer is a leading manufacturer of heavy-duty transit buses, and we're seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Bus and Coach Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and safety of our fleet.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and repair diesel engines, driveline components, and electrical systems
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and tire rotations
  • Assist in the installation and repair of seating, steering components, and glass
  • Work on electric buses, including maintaining and inspecting high-voltage systems, battery packs, and electric drivetrains
Requirements:
  • Technical expertise in diesel engines, driveline components, and electrical systems
  • Proficiency with diagnostic devices and shop tools
  • Certification as a Truck & Coach Technician or currently pursuing 310T certification
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
