Registered Nurse needed for Emergency unit in Mackenzie, BC, with 6 months experience and current licensure, to work on a project-based position with competitive pay and opportunities for advancement.

The RN will work in the Emergency unit with full scope of practice, with competitive pay and opportunities for advancement.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring nursing facility policies, procedures, and standards are followed
  • Completing medical records by federal, state, and local regulations
  • Ensuring a safe and sanitary environment by all local, state, and federal regulations
  • Monitoring and evaluating patient health status and progress
  • Communicating with physicians and staff members to plan patient care

Qualifications include:

  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse
  • Active BLS/CPR Certification
  • Active ACLS Certification
  • Knowledge of Emergency department required
  • Immunization Record (MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Two-Step TB)

Job details:

  • Fixed term contract
  • Contract length: 3 months
  • Pay: $60.00-$65.00 per hour
  • Expected hours: No less than 36 per week
  • Benefits: Relocation assistance
  • Schedule: 10 hour shift, 12 hour shift, 4 hour shift, 8 hour shift, Day shift, Evening shift, Every Weekend, Holidays, Monday to Friday, Morning shift, Night shift, No weekends, Overtime, Weekends as needed
