Summary:

The primary responsibilities of the Regional Account Manager (Western Canada - Saskatchewan to B.C.) are to communicate the benefits of a company's products in order to drive Rentals, Sales, Repairs & Calibration Services, and Training. The Regional Account Manager will serve as the point of contact between businesses and its prospects or clients and have a range of responsibilities including identifying and educating prospective customers while supporting existing clients with information and assistance that relates to products and services.

Responsibilities:

  • Secure orders, guarantee products standards and assure product delivery
  • Recommend new and improved products to the customers and explain how the equipment will be more cost effective.
  • Maintain a detailed call report of prospect and existing customers for review on a daily or weekly basis with the Vice President of Sales and Branch Unit Manager.
  • Answer phones, assist customers by completing order entry, order processing, and additional administrative work.
  • Handling and resolving customer complaints regarding a product or service
  • Demonstrate product knowledge and technical capabilities
  • Identify prospective customer, lead generation and conversion
  • Contact new and existing customers to discuss needs
  • Emphasize features of products to highlight how they solve customer problems
  • Negotiate prices and terms and prepare rentals and sales agreements
  • Collaborate with colleagues in many different sectors
  • Maintain contact lists and follow up with customers to continue relationships
  • Responsible for Rentals and Sales performance and addressing issues when necessary
