Summary:

The Commercial Sales and Leasing Professional is a results-oriented individual with a proven track record in closing commercial real estate deals. The successful candidate is responsible for prospecting, negotiating, and closing transactions, contributing significantly to Cushman & Wakefield | Stevenson's portfolio expansion.

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, or a related field preferred.
  • Current and valid real estate license required.
  • Proven experience in commercial real estate sales, leasing, or a related field considered an asset.
  • In-depth knowledge of the local commercial real estate market considered an asset.
  • Familiarity with commercial real estate software and tools considered an asset.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Ability to work effectively in a rapidly growing/changing environment with a high degree of resourcefulness and adaptability
  • Communication Skills - Ability to communicate effectively and professionally, both oral and written with both internal and external stakeholders; Experience communicating with media an asset
  • Relationship Skills –Ability to develop and sustain cooperative working relationships at all levels of the organization; be a mature and self-motivated team player with good conflict-resolution and people management skills; develop productive relationships with vendors
  • Organizational Skills – Ability to allocate one's time effectively and manage tight deadlines; ability to work under pressure and achieve quality results; ability to handle multiple demands and competing priorities, ability to project manage and delegate where applicable
  • Decision Making Skills – Ability to resolve problems using facts and sound reasoning; ability to achieve goals using a strategic approach; proven innovation with a willingness to manage and adapt to change.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Identifies and evaluates potential clients, investors, and business opportunities within the commercial real estate market.
  • Leverages market intelligence and industry connections to generate leads for potential transactions.
  • Cultivates and maintains robust relationships with clients, property owners, and key stakeholders.
  • Provides expert guidance on commercial real estate transactions, leasing options, and investment opportunities.
  • Develops and executes comprehensive marketing strategies for commercial properties to attract potential buyers, tenants, and investors.
  • Creates compelling property listings, marketing collateral, and presentations to showcase available properties.
  • Negotiates terms and conditions on behalf of clients to secure favorable outcomes.
  • Oversees and coordinates the closing process of commercial real estate transactions, collaborating with legal, financial, and other relevant parties.
  • Conducts thorough market research to stay abreast of industry trends, property values, and emerging investment opportunities.
  • Analyzes data and trends to provide informed recommendations to clients.
  • Actively participates in industry events, conferences, and networking functions to expand professional connections.
  • Collaborates with real estate professionals, industry stakeholders, and local business networks.
  • Prepares accurate and detailed documentation for transactions, including contracts, leases, and other relevant agreements.
  • Provides regular reports on market trends, client interactions, and transaction progress.
