Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Walmart Canada. As a key member of our store management team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing store operations, and leading a team of associates to deliver exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Drive Sales Growth: Analyze sales and financial reports to identify opportunities for growth and implement strategies to achieve sales and profit goals.
  2. Manage Store Operations: Create and implement operational plans, prioritize tasks, and delegate responsibilities to ensure optimal store conditions and compliance with company policies and procedures.
  3. Lead and Develop Associates: Conduct regular store meetings, provide feedback and coaching, and develop associates to increase their capability and drive engagement.
  4. Customer Service: Serve as an ambassador for the store, greet customers, seek feedback, and resolve customer complaints and issues within company guidelines.
  5. Community Involvement: Participate in and support community events, develop relationships with key community groups, and emphasize the store's role as an integral part of the community.
