We are currently seeking an Accounts Receivables Clerk to support our client, a leading Insurance Firm, in their Markham office (hybrid position).

In this role, you will have full-time hours for a 6-month assignment, with a rate of $19.15 per hour.

Responsibilities:

This role involves providing excellent broker service, reconciling broker submissions, analyzing premium and suspense activity.

You will need to resolve discrepancies between billed and paid receivables by communicating effectively with internal underwriting units, and escalating issues to management.

The Intermediate Account Analyst will collect broker billed premiums for a group of National Brokers.

You will investigate, gather, and present solutions to complex customer inquiries and provide prompt broker service per department service levels.


  • Provide expert advice on broker premium payment process to internal customers
  • Monitor and report collection results for a group of Brokers
  • Record Broker statement and remittance history log
  • Prepare and maintain premium unpaid balance log

Qualifications:


  • College Diploma or University Degree in Accounting/Finance/Business
  • 3-5 years of Insurance Accounts Receivable experience
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills
  • Strong analytical and investigative skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
