Job Title: Wind Turbine Technician II

Vestas is seeking a highly skilled Wind Turbine Technician II to join our Resource Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for traveling to various sites across North America to perform wind turbine maintenance and installation tasks.

Responsibilities:
  • Travel 100% of the time to various sites across North America
  • Perform intermediate level wind turbine maintenance and installation tasks
  • Act as a safety role model and encourage others to practice safe acts
  • Document tasks and enter data into company systems
  • Diagnose and recommend solutions to turbine issues
  • Follow basic structured problem-solving process to complete troubleshooting and diagnostic tasks
  • Effectively promote a healthy team environment and mentor lower-level technical staff
  • Interface with customers and respond to inquiries
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Preferred: Post-high school education or minimum two-year wind industry experience
  • Proven use and understanding of intermediate-level power tools
  • Ability to demonstrate intermediate working knowledge of industrial safety practices
  • Valid Driver's License and Passport
  • Significant attention to detail and execution, good interpersonal and customer relation skills
