Job Summary

A dynamic manufacturing company in Brampton is seeking a skilled Millwright to join their team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic systems, including PLCs, and be able to perform installation, repair, troubleshooting, and dismantling tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform necessary repairs and adjustments on Originating and Vision machine transfer equipment.
  • Conduct preventative and predictive maintenance on equipment, machinery, devices, and physical plant components.
  • Access and input work order information through the Maintenance Program.
  • Notify the supervisor of any required repairs or supplies for the department.
  • Ensure the work area is kept clean and safe.
  • Install, disassemble, assess, troubleshoot, repair, and carry out preventative and predictive maintenance on equipment, machinery, devices, and physical plant components.
  • Operate forklifts, cranes, and other equipment to move materials, machinery, and components.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to improve processes.
  • Train colleagues on the most up-to-date and efficient operating methods.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or designated authority.
Requirements
  • Proven expertise in mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic systems (including PLCs) for installation, repair, troubleshooting, and dismantling.
  • Physical capability and mental aptitude to perform essential job functions.
  • Knowledge of safety devices on all machines and equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
  • Adequate oral and written communication skills for effective information exchange.
  • Strong decision-making skills based on situation assessment and prioritization.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
