Job Summary
  • Safeguard applications in Waybill, Service Scheduling, and Customs areas.
  • Provide operational support services for CN's core applications across pre-production and production environments.
  • Collaborate with a dynamic team of SMEs for new project integrations.
  • Analyze requirements, provide solutions for project integrations, and ensure compliance with ITIL and SOX requirements.

If you are a Specialist who thrives in troubleshooting, analyzing, designing, and programming within the ITIL framework, this role is for you.

Main Responsibilities
  • 15+ years of experience in mainframe development.
  • Develop using Natural programming language.
  • Support role for critical, time-sensitive applications.
  • Contribute to QA, implementation plans, and compliance with IT standards.
Operational Excellence
  • Provide 24/7 support for SRS service offerings.
  • Lead incidents and support problem investigations.
  • Utilize Microsoft Teams and Service Now for SDLC and meeting SLAs.
Delivery/Modernization
  • Participate in the transition of new projects to core support.
  • Ensure compliance with CN IT standards and implement automated solutions.
  • Facilitate meetings with projects, business, and external partners.
Customer Satisfaction
  • Build strong relationships with business partners and ITCC.
  • Manage Team mailbox and Service Now requests.
  • Assist with business prioritizations for enhancements/defects.
Education/Certification/Designation
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science and software engineering.
  • Bilingual with proficiency in English.
  • Prioritize and multi-task in high-pressure environments.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Technical Skills/Knowledge
  • Functional design skills and programming languages like Natural/Adabas, Cobol.
  • Understanding of batch processing concepts and Job Control Language (JCL).
  • Knowledge of IBM 3090, OS MVS, DB2 SQL, and more.
