Consumables Associate

Join our team as a Consumables Associate at Walmart Canada and develop your skills in the retail industry. As a customer service champion, you will contribute to the high-volume, fast-paced flow of merchandise from the backroom to the salesfloor.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet customers in a polite and friendly manner
  • Assist customers by promoting products, locating merchandise, and making purchase decisions
  • Resolve customer issues and refer concerns to management where appropriate
  • Maintain salesfloor presentation by stocking and rotating merchandise, removing damaged or out-of-date goods, and setting up product displays
  • Ensure proper handling of claims and returns, secure merchandise, and maintain a safe work environment
  • Receive and stock merchandise, utilize equipment appropriately, and administer required paperwork
  • Refer service and transactional items to a Customer Service Manager as required
  • Stock merchandise, pick, and downstock as needed, and apply product protection when required
Compensation:

The minimum rate of pay for this position starts from $18.40, with rate of pay determined based on relevant experience.
