**Structural Engineer Wanted** A dynamic and growing engineering firm seeks a skilled Structural Engineer to lead challenging projects and collaborate with design and construction professionals.

At CBCL Limited, we are a successful, dynamic, growing engineering and environmental consulting firm. We have an exciting opportunity for a Structural Engineer to join our team in our Sydney office.

As a Structural Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional results for our clients through all stages of the design process. You will be encouraged to take a leading role in project management, business development, structural design calculations, and analysis.

**Key Responsibilities:** • Project Management: financial management, resource management, change order management, and invoicing • Business Development: provincial business development in Nova Scotia • Structural Design: calculations and analysis • Coordination: design support staff coordination • Mentoring: provide technical support and mentoring to junior staff members • Technical Specifications: preparation of technical specifications and construction documents • Contract Administration: construction contract administration • Site Work: periodic site work, including meetings, field reviews, and measurements • Client Liaison: meet and liaise with clients **Capabilities and Credentials:** • University Degree in Civil Engineering specializing in Structural Engineering • 7+ years of experience in structural design and construction administration • Specialization in all building types, including institutional, educational, apartment/condominium, and industrial buildings • Registration as a Professional Engineer in Canada with eligibility for registration or registered with Engineers NS • Familiarity with Revit and AutoCAD • Detail oriented, organized, hardworking, with a team player attitude • Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites within Atlantic Canada **Assets:** • Experience in structural design and construction administration in masonry restoration, water and wastewater treatment plant design, industrial structures, electrical utility support structures, and marine works • Experience with industry standard software such as ETABS, SAP 2000, S-Frame, Lusas, and Revit **What We Can Offer:** • Competitive compensation package • Comprehensive health and dental benefits • Defined Contribution Pension Plan with employer matching contributions • Generous vacation allowance commensurate with experience • Employee ownership potential • Employer contributions towards maternity leave top up • Health and wellness Incentive • Membership dues reimbursement • Education and lifelong learning subsidization • Community volunteering incentive • Employee Family Assistance Program **About Us:** At CBCL, our purpose is to create a positive and lasting impact on people and our planet.
