Relevant du coordonnateur ou de la coordonnatrice des programmes du Service des loisirs, la personne responsable de ce poste travaille directement auprès des Aînés au Qammaq des Aînés (centre d'accueil pour les Aînés).

Responsabilités
  • Mettre en place des activités et des programmes pour les Aînés culturellement adaptés
  • Maintenir un environnement sain et invitant pour les Aînés
  • Aider à organiser des réunions avec la Société Qammaq des Aînés et à réaliser des tâches administratives
  • Assurer la liaison avec les organismes communautaires et les visiteurs du Qammaq des Aînés
Compétences requises
  • Expérience professionnelle avec des Aînés dans l'un des domaines suivants : organisation et animation d'activités récréatives, travail dans un établissement de soins, travail en tant que personne soignante, mise en œuvre de programmes de soutien et d'assistance ou dans un domaine directement lié
  • Capacité à communiquer verbalement et par écrit en inuktitut et en anglais et posséder une compréhension approfondie de la culture inuite
  • Excellentes habiletés interpersonnelles
  • Capacité à travailler en équipe
  • Certification en RCP et en premiers soins
