Perativ is a leading provider of ATM services and technology, helping customers reduce their ATM management costs, improve customer experience, and increase productivity.

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our team, serving our Kitchener to Sarnia territory and reporting to our Toronto Head Office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, test, and maintain ATMs to ensure maximum performance and functionality.
  • Diagnose and repair technical issues with ATMs, communicating with customers to resolve problems.
  • Provide basic training to new customers on ATM loading and troubleshooting procedures.
  • Conduct in-person service maintenance when issues cannot be resolved remotely.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on ATMs and conduct inventory counts in vehicles.
  • Provide support to internal departments and external customers, as required.
  • Participate in a rotating on-call schedule to provide weekday and weekend support to customers.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma required.
  • Customer service training course, an asset.
  • Technical schooling, an asset.
  • 2 years' experience fixing electronics and/or mechanical items.
  • At least 1 year of experience with online service call software, an asset.
  • Valid driver's license, with clean driving record.
  • Ability to pass a criminal and credit background check.
  • Astute attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Team-focused attitude, supportive of co-workers.
  • Articulate communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to stay calm under pressure.
