Produce Stocker

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Produce Stocker to join our team at Walmart Canada. As a key member of our grocery team, you will play a critical role in ensuring our customers have access to fresh and high-quality produce.
Key Responsibilities- Zoning the department to ensure efficient stock rotation and customer flow.
- Rotating stock and checking for expired products to maintain a high level of product freshness.
- Ensuring merchandise is properly signed and priced to meet customer expectations.
- Adhering to standards and policies for cold chain compliance, thermometer calibrations, temperature recording, food handling, product rotation, sell-by dates, and expiration dates to maintain a safe and healthy shopping environment.
- Following proper procedures for ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels to ensure accurate inventory management.
- Ensuring the department is fully stocked with merchandise and is ready for business to meet customer demand.
- Following Health and Safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with colleagues and provide exceptional customer service.
- A willingness to learn and adapt to new procedures and policies.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is an asset.
