Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Produce Stocker to join our team at Walmart Canada. As a Produce Stocker, you will play a critical role in ensuring our customers have access to fresh and high-quality produce.

Key Responsibilities
  • Zoning the department to ensure efficient stock rotation and inventory management.
  • Rotating stock and checking for expired products to maintain a high level of product freshness.
  • Ensuring merchandise is properly signed and priced to meet customer expectations.
  • Adhering to standards and policies for cold chain compliance, thermometer calibrations, temperature recording, food handling, product rotation, sell-by dates, and expiration dates to maintain a safe and healthy shopping environment.
  • Following proper procedures for ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels to ensure accurate inventory management.
  • Ensuring the department is fully stocked with merchandise and is ready for business to meet customer demand.
  • Following Health and Safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will also need to be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
