Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Produce Stocker to join our team at Walmart Canada. As a key member of our sales floor team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Zoning and Merchandising
    • Organize and maintain a visually appealing store display of produce products.
    • Ensure that all produce products are properly signed, priced, and stocked.
  • Inventory Management
    • Rotate stock and check for expired products to ensure freshness and quality.
    • Adhere to standards and policies for cold chain compliance, thermometer calibrations, temperature recording, food handling, product rotation, sell-by dates, and expiration dates.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions, resolving issues, and making recommendations.
    • Follow proper procedures for ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels.
  • Store Maintenance
    • Ensure that the department is fully stocked with merchandise and is ready for business.
    • Follow Health and Safety guidelines and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Requirements
  • Minimum Qualifications
    • High school diploma or equivalent required.
    • Previous experience in a retail or customer service role an asset.
  • Preferred Qualifications
    • Post-secondary education in a related field (e.g. business, hospitality).
    • Previous experience in a produce or grocery store environment.
