Hydro Ottawa seeks a Programmer/Analyst - Salesforce to configure, customize, and support its Salesforce Service Cloud platform, collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and implement solutions.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Configuring and customizing Salesforce objects, fields, and page layouts
  • Developing custom reports and dashboards to track key metrics and provide insights
  • Providing training and support to end-users on Salesforce functionality
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and implement solutions
  • Staying up-to-date on Salesforce releases and new features
  • Maintaining and applying knowledge of the application landscape
  • Leading day-to-day activities and ensuring issues are resolved
  • Coordinating and administering security privileges for users
  • Applying understanding of core operational business needs and processes
  • Designing, reviewing, and approving detailed business scenarios and processes
  • Coordinating and facilitating delivery of updates to existing solutions or implementation of new solutions
  • Creating and maintaining reference documentation for changes and support activities
  • Acting as the point of contact and coordinating input from subject matter experts
  • Overseeing activities in collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders and vendors
  • Presenting information clearly and concisely
  • Coordinating and facilitating testing, validation, and deployment activities
  • Building long-term relationships or partnerships with internal and external clients and suppliers

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary education in a related field, such as Computer Science or Information Technology
  • A combination of formal training and relevant experience may substitute for academic requirement
  • Minimum 3 years experience in Salesforce administration
  • Experience with Apex, Visualforce, and/or Lightning Web Components
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills
  • Experience in managing multiple priorities in a service-oriented customer environment
  • Experience with ITIL and change management best practices
  • Salesforce Administrator certification or equivalent experience considered an asset
  • Experience developing strategic partnerships across functional areas considered an asset
  • Strong computer skills; proficient in the use of office productivity and collaboration tools
  • English essential, both oral and written; Bilingual (French/English) considered an asset

This is a management group opportunity, and salary will be commensurate with qualifications.
