Guest Room Attendant Join Our Team as a Guest Room Attendant

Staybridge Suites Toronto Vaughan South, an IHG Franchise, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Guest Room Attendant to join our housekeeping team. As a valued member of our team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and service that our guests have come to expect.

Job Description

As a Guest Room Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, sanitation, and comfort of guest rooms and public areas. Your commitment to excellence will contribute significantly to our guests' satisfaction and overall experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas to hotel standards
  • Make beds, change linens, and replenish towels and amenities
  • Vacuum, dust, and polish furniture, windows, and fixtures
  • Replenish guest room supplies, such as toiletries and beverages
  • Remove trash and recyclables, ensuring proper disposal
  • Report any maintenance issues or lost and found items to the appropriate department
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond promptly to guest requests
  • Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in good working order
  • Uphold the hotel's standards of confidentiality and privacy
Qualifications:
  • Previous housekeeping or custodial experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication skills and a positive attitude
  • Ability to handle physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
