Job Description

The Team Lead plays a critical role in linking the leadership team and sales associates, assisting with operational functions and motivating the team to exceed goals. Reporting directly to the Store Manager, the Team Lead provides support and coverage in their absence, modeling desired selling and customer service behaviors at all times.

To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess:

  • 1+ years of related experience in a retail apparel environment, with luxury retail experience a plus;
  • Proven ability to lead a sales team and be viewed as a leader among peers;
  • Experience with POS management, daily banking procedures, and submitting timely reports;
  • Strong organization and problem-solving skills;
  • Passion for delivering an exceptional customer experience;
  • Ability to collaborate with others and work independently;
  • Availability for varied weekly shifts, including weekends, closing, and holidays.

  • Assisting with new associate onboarding and training;
  • Coaching associates on customer service fundamentals and providing positive feedback;
  • Assisting with resolving customer service matters;
  • Overseeing and delegating tasks to the team to maximize efficiency of store operations;
  • Communicating individual and/or team performance feedback to store management;
  • Ensuring team members receive scheduled breaks and/or meal periods;
  • Creating an open and outward communication on the sales floor;
  • Ensuring adherence to all company policies, procedures, and guidelines;
  • Performing opening and closing procedures, and any inventory duties as directed.
