Job Description:
As an Estimator / Sales Representative, you will be accountable for building and maintaining strong customer relationships, developing and executing sales strategies, and providing exceptional customer service.
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers, identifying new sales opportunities and growing revenue.
- Understand customers' product and business requirements, translating their needs into sales opportunities.
- Analyze project proposals to prepare accurate and detailed estimates, reviewing technical specifications and drawings for pricing and scope review.
- Maintain and complete tender processes, including administrative tasks, and review design options to recommend the best solution based on cost, engineering quality, or availability of materials.
- Review and finalize estimate packages to ensure accuracy and completeness, prior to formal quotation.
Essential Experience and Skills:
- Five years of sales/marketing experience, preferably in a construction materials environment or significant concrete technical experience and knowledge.
- Construction market and industry knowledge is an asset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers to solve issues to both parties' satisfaction.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, comfortable working with a computer, and able to answer and send emails.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel as required.
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, with solid organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management capabilities.
- Goal and results-oriented, with the ability to take initiative and work independently as part of the overall sales/operations team.
What We Offer:
Car allowance + uncapped commissions
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: From $30,000.00 per year
Work Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
