Job Summary:

As an Investment Advisor at RBC Dominion Securities, you will have the opportunity to help your clients achieve their financial goals while building a successful career with a leading financial institution.

About the Role:

  • You will work with high-net-worth individuals, families, and business owners to understand their financial needs and provide personalized investment advice and wealth management solutions.
  • You will leverage RBC's extensive resources and expertise to create customized portfolios and wealth plans that meet the unique needs of your clients.
  • You will foster long-term relationships with your clients by providing exceptional service and advice, often spanning multiple generations.
  • You will work collaboratively with RBC partners to ensure your clients receive comprehensive support for all aspects of their financial lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain a client base of high-net-worth individuals, families, and business owners.
  • Develop and implement customized investment and wealth management strategies for clients.
  • Provide exceptional service and advice to clients, including regular portfolio reviews and updates.
  • Collaborate with RBC partners to ensure comprehensive support for clients.

Requirements:

  • 4-6 years of outbound sales experience, with a strong track record of success.
  • Completed the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) or equivalent.
  • Passion for financial planning and portfolio management.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and ability to connect with diverse individuals.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in direct marketing, financial services, and high-value sales and business development.
  • Completed advanced certifications such as Conduct and Practices Handbook (CPH), Personal Financial Planner (PFP), Chartered Investment Manager (CIM), and Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
