We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Associate Advisor to join our successful Advisory Team in West Vancouver. As an Associate Advisor, you will play a key role in deepening client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and providing exceptional client service.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate meetings and events for the Investment Advisor with clients and prospects, ensuring seamless execution and follow-up.
- Provide proactive client service with a focus on problem resolution and attention to detail, liaising with various departments as needed.
- Respond to client account inquiries and remain accountable for follow-up, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
- Help build and execute business plans, client segmentation, and client service plans to drive growth and retention.
- Identify and execute opportunities among existing clients for asset consolidation, referrals, and other growth initiatives.
- Comanage the client acquisition pipeline, working with the advisory team to close new opportunities and drive revenue growth.
- Deepen existing relationships with Centers of Influence (COIs) through ongoing management and communication.
- Conduct ongoing research on markets and investments, providing regular updates to the advisory team.
- Support the advisory team and clients through the Wealth Management process, gathering relevant information, coordinating activities, and tracking progress.
- A minimum of 2 to 4 years of professional experience within the investment industry.
- Approval as a Registered Representative (RR) with IIROC.
- Successful completion of the Wealth Management Essentials (WME) course or Investment Management Techniques (IMT).
- University degree.
- A self-directed individual with a growth and goals-oriented mindset.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills.

The expected base salary range for this position is $38,000 - $55,000, depending on experience, skills, and registration status, market conditions, and business needs. You also have the potential to earn considerably more through RBC's robust discretionary bonus program, provided the business meets its performance targets and you meet your individual goals.
