Audax is seeking a Senior Architectural Technologist to lead the technological design of building projects from conception to completion.

Audax is a vertically integrated organization that provides Architecture, Interior Design, and Construction Management services to the luxury real estate market.

The Senior Architectural Technologist will support the Directors in the preparation of design drawings, tender and construction documents, and specifications using Revit.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of building science and detailing, with a minimum of 10 years of relevant post-graduate experience.

The Senior Architectural Technologist will be responsible for leading the technological design of building projects, advising on materials and technology, and conducting risk assessments.

The role will also involve preparing documents for planning permission and other approvals, developing and managing each project's Revit model, and coordinating with consultants.

The Senior Architectural Technologist will assist with construction administration activities, including shop drawing review, specifications, and site instructions.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, and a high level of skill with Revit, Rhino, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Enscape, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office applications.

The Senior Architectural Technologist will stay up-to-date with legislation, standards, and technological innovations in the field.

  • Qualifications:
    • Diploma from an accredited Architectural Technologist Program or equivalent
    • Minimum 10 years of relevant post-graduate experience in the production of architecture and interior design drawings
    • Excellent understanding and knowledge of building science and detailing
    • High level of skill with Revit, Rhino, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Enscape, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office applications
    • Experience in the production of high-quality computer renderings and presentation materials
    • Experience in multi-unit mid-rise / high-rise residential and luxury houses required. Experience in other building types and interiors an asset.
    • Hand drawing skills
    • Strong knowledge of the Ontario Building Code and other applicable laws
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
    • Excellent communication skills
