What is the Opportunity?

As a Senior Network Security Analyst at RBC, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our global network infrastructure. Your primary responsibilities will include providing subject matter expertise for the management of Global Firewall rules, including risk assessment and accreditation, as well as implementing and supporting Business to Business VPNs between RBC and third-party vendors. You will work closely with business partners, escalation teams, and vendors to resolve incidents and deliver infrastructure changes across the global RBC Enterprise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement firewall rule attestation and accreditation processes globally.
  • Conduct risk assessments of firewall rules across multiple firewall platforms globally.
  • Collaborate with DevOps/Automation teams to identify opportunities for process optimization and automation.
  • Design and implement secure network architectures and configurations.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and process records.
  • Participate in meetings and training sessions to stay up-to-date on new technologies and service deployments.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of network security principles and protocols.
  • Experience with firewall management platforms, including Check Point, Palo Alto, and Fortinet.
  • Knowledge of IP internetworking and security exposures.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • University degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
