Self Checkout Attendant

As a Self-Checkout Attendant at Walmart Canada, you will provide exceptional customer service and assist customers processing transactions through the self-service area(s).
Key Responsibilities:- Keep the area neat, clean and organized, and free of fixtures, unnecessary debris, foreign objects, and liquids.
- Educate customers on the correct and efficient use of self-service options.
- Promote company sponsor programs, such as credit card services and charity initiatives.
- Observe customer activities to determine when assistance is needed.
- Explain the reasons for self-service interventions and quality checks to customers.
- Respond to EAS alarms and fill out the "Failure to Deactivate" Log.
- Notify the Customer Service Manager when the self-service area(s) is low on cash or has a technical issue.
- Return Scan & Go scanners to their home after use.
