Mental Health and Addictions Support Worker, Red Fish Nrt

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Mental Health and Addictions Support Worker to join our team at Red Fish Nrt. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide direct support to clients with complex mental health and substance use challenges.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor clients' progress and provide emotional support and counseling to help them achieve their recovery goals.
- Participate in the admission, case planning, and discharge process for clients, including conducting interviews and gathering relevant information.
- Establish rapport with clients and provide support with daily living activities, such as time management and interpersonal communication.
- Assist clients with accessing community resources and services, and provide information on available options.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individual care plans that meet the unique needs of each client.
- Diploma from a recognized Social Services Support Worker educational program.
- Two years' recent, related experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Valid B.C. driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
