We're looking for a passionate and experienced leader to join our team. As a Manager of Care Coordination, you will be responsible for leading the operations of the Continuing Care program, aligning with provincial priorities and legislation. You will foster a collaborative approach to internal and external relationships, ensuring the health needs of Nova Scotians are met.

About You
  • Baccalaureate degree in a healthcare field and a minimum of 5 years recent and related leadership/management experience
  • Currently registered with an applicable regulatory body
  • Demonstrated leadership skills in a healthcare environment and ongoing professional development
  • Progressive experience in management and administration in a health care/ community setting
  • Demonstrated commitment to a philosophy of independence for those who require care and to the utilization of evidence to inform practice
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective collaborative relationships and partnerships with stakeholders and clients
  • Strong human resource management, financial management, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Excellent organizational, time management and problem solving skills
  • Experience identifying trends, preparing reports, and implementing change, leadership, strategic thinking, and analytical skills
  • Demonstrated planning, organization and time management skills. Ability to deal with competing priorities
  • Knowledge of applicable legislation and regulations
  • Knowledge of applicable policies and standards
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the NS Action for Health & LEADS in a Caring Environment
  • Experience in managing in a unionized environment
  • Competencies in other languages an asset; French preferred
Hours
  • Permanent Full Time; 75 hours bi-weekly
  • Hours of work may include days, evenings, weekends and holidays
Compensation and Benefits

$57.05 hourly

Successful candidates may be eligible for our benefits package, which includes health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage, as well as a defined benefit pension plan.
