We are seeking a highly skilled Physiotherapist to join our team at Burnaby Hospital. As a Physiotherapist, you will play a vital role in providing physiotherapy services to patients, promoting their physical function and well-being.
Key Responsibilities- Provide physiotherapy assessment, diagnosis, and treatment to patients, including developing and implementing individualized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with the interprofessional care team to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
- Participate in maintaining quality patient care by identifying referrals for physiotherapy services and facilitating referrals to appropriate health care/community programs.
- Establish a therapeutic relationship with patients and their families/caregivers, promoting patient autonomy and dignity.
- Current full registration with the College of Physical Therapists of British Columbia (CPTBC).
- Knowledge of physiotherapy theory and practice within a patient and family-centered model of care.
- Ability to communicate effectively and respectfully with patients, caregivers, and members of the interprofessional care team.
