ABOUT ISLAMIC RELIEF:

Islamic Relief is a faith-based relief and development agency working to save and transform the lives of some of the world's most vulnerable people. JOB PURPOSE:

To support the operations of the National Fundraising Team and help enable team cohesion, growth, and achieve department goals.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Support the Operations Manager and team on national fundraising campaigns and eventsDevelop systems and processes to support the National team on major campaigns (i.e. Ramadan collections, fundraisers, national challenges, etc)Oversee crowdfunding pages and manage logistics of crowdfunding campaigns (communication with campaign creator, creatives, information on the cause, etc)Prepare and submit requests for marketing collateral for fundraising campaigns and eventsLiaise with National team to organize regional events and activitiesTrack profit/loss after events and campaignsOversee/submit department invoices, expenses, reimbursements to financeSupport Operations Manager and team with day-to-day tasks

QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES:

Knowledge, Skills and Attributes:

Post-Secondary Education; University degree preferredDemonstrated ability to utilize Excel and prepare documentsExcellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Fluency in French is an assetStrong attention to detail requiredProven capacity to work collaboratively and proactively with colleagues; to work effectively independently and in a team; and to work under time-bound and stressfulStrong motivation and empathy towards the aims and objectives of the organisation Numerical skills, the ability to work accurately under pressure and pay attention to detail Strong organisational skills i.e. ability to prioritise and plan work, set and achieve deadlines, establish and maintain monitoring systems etc.
