Dietitian, Critical Care/parenteral Nutrition

We are looking for a skilled dietitian with experience in nutrition support, particularly in critical care and parenteral nutrition. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing patients' nutritional needs, developing and implementing comprehensive nutrition plans, and collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Assess patients' nutritional needs and develop comprehensive nutrition plans
- Monitor and evaluate patients' response to nutrition care plans and make adjustments as needed
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care
- Provide education and training to staff and caregivers on nutrition support
- Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and research projects related to nutrition support
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Dietetics from a recognized educational institution
- Successful completion of an approved dietetic internship program
- Two years' recent related clinical experience in a medical/surgical unit in a large acute-care facility
- Current certification in nutrition support (CNSC) from the National Board of Nutrition Support Certification (NBNSC)
- Current registration with the College of Health and Care Professionals of British Columbia
