Job Description:
TD Bank is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Human Centered Design Research Intern to join our team. As a Human Centered Design Research Intern, you will have the opportunity to support various phases of the design research process, including managing the lab, collecting data, and analyzing results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the lab for studies run in TD's in-house research lab
- Oversee operating various pieces of lab technology and handle participants
- Collect and analyze data through scribing and other processes
- Assist Senior Design Researchers with analyzing data and driving cutting-edge ideation and design
- Develop and practice primary and secondary research skills through knowledge harvests, literature reviews, journey mapping, and ethnographic studies
- Conduct user-experience, conceptual, and co-design testing
Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree in psychology, anthropology, industrial engineering, human factors, human-computer interaction, or a related field
- Must be enrolled in an undergraduate degree with the intent of going back to school at the start of the work term
- Lab management experience and knowledge of lab technology
- Excellent communication and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
