Descripción del Cargo

El Gerente de Planta reportará directamente al Gerente General y será responsable de:

  • Supervisar la producción y garantizar la calidad de los productos
  • Monitorear las operaciones diarias y reorganizar los métodos operativos para mejorar la eficiencia
  • Implementar y ajustar procedimientos nuevos para garantizar la calidad y la satisfacción del cliente
  • Coordinar los procesos de manufactura para asegurar el cumplimiento de los objetivos de la empresa, los sistemas de calidad y las expectativas del cliente
Responsabilidades
  • Proporcionar liderazgo para garantizar el uso efectivo de los recursos humanos y materiales de la planta
  • Investigar y implementar procesos de manufactura innovadores para reducir costos y mejorar la calidad de los productos
  • Desarrollar planes para garantizar la fluidez de las operaciones
  • Crear y gestionar presupuestos
  • Analizar datos y presentar informes a la dirección sobre los procesos
  • Negociar acuerdos con subcontratistas y proveedores
  • Revisar los registros de producción para determinar si los empleados cumplen con y pueden mejorar sus indicadores de desempeño clave (KPI)
  • Supervisar los horarios de trabajo para garantizar la cobertura
  • Implementar programas de salud y seguridad
  • Garantizar las revisiones de seguridad rutinarias del equipo
Requisitos
  • Titulación en ingeniería (mecánica, industrial o eléctrica) o combinación de experiencia y educación relevante para el puesto
  • Al menos 5 años de experiencia en un cargo supervisivo y experiencia en producción de una pequeña empresa manufacturera
  • Excelentes habilidades de comunicación escrita y verbal en inglés
  • Conocimiento del francés (funcional)
  • Éxito demostrado en un entorno de alta velocidad, trabajando en equipo y de manera individual
  • Excelente dominio de la tecnología y la informática
  • Conocimiento de la operación de equipo de metal (corte, doblado, soldadura, pintura) y madera (corte y laminado)
  • Conocimiento de los requisitos de OHS y capacidad para coordinar acciones correctivas
  • Experiencia con la implementación de ERP y una instalación de producción sin papel
  • Comprensión demostrada de los principios de manufactura lean (KANBAN/KAIZEN - MANUFACTURA LEAN - SIX SIGMA - ISO)
