The S&C OJT Trainer plays a fundamental role and validating and improving employee skills through hands on mentoring, ensuring employees apply the technical knowledge outlined in the S&C GI and SCP books, while working safely and in compliance with the Operating Manual.

The S&C OJT Trainer will typically accompany a small group of employees (2 to 4) for several days to various sites, observing employees conduct their regulatory testing and respond to trouble calls, having the employees walk the Trainer through their thought process and their planned actions. This allows the Trainer to opportunity quiz employees to ensure employees understand the range of implications on each decision, and coach them where knowledge gaps are evident.

The various locations to be visited during the several days of mentoring, also allow the Trainer to mentor the employees on the overall condition of the location, outline areas of improvement to prevent service disruption, and give them an opportunity to work together on how to correct those areas of concern.

We share our ideas and champion the people behind them.
