Salary or Pay Band: Pay Band Mental Health Therapist - Senior $38.389 to $46.943
Job Description This position is a senior position responsible for the clinical supervision of staff, development and implementation of programs, scheduling and managing clinical needs as they arise for clients receiving services at Calder Centre. The youth program is comprised of 12 treatment beds and 6 Detox beds, and the adult program has 38 beds. The incumbent reports to Calder Program Managers. The incumbent is responsible to work with the Calder Centre Nurse and staff to triage acute medical, psychiatric and detoxification issues.

- Bachelor of Chemical Dependency
Other Education and Training:
- OH&S Safety for Supervisors Training
- Bachelor Degree acceptable to the employer
- Bachelor of Social Sciences is acceptable
- Bachelor of Human Services is acceptable
Knowledge and Abilities
- Knowledge in program development and implementation
- Knowledge in drugs of abuse and their effects
- Knowledge in various therapeutic approaches
- Knowledge of the DSM-5
- Knowledge in Developmental Model of Recovery
- Ability to work flexible hours
