- Workplace Safety: Ensure safe work practices are followed, including proper lifting and maintaining a clean work area.
- Register Security: Maintain register security and integrity through diligent cash handling, adherence to relevant company policies, and awareness of surroundings.
- Escalation: Refer any service or transactional issues to a Customer Service Manager as required.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate with customers and colleagues in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to accurately process transactions and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales and customer service goals.
- Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities in a dynamic retail environment.
While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:
- Previous Retail Experience: Experience working in a retail environment, preferably in a customer-facing role.
- Cash Handling Skills: Experience handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system.
- Customer Service Training: Training or experience in customer service, including conflict resolution and complaint handling.
