Position Overview

The Senior Account Manager will play a critical role in driving sales growth and expanding iON's presence in the market. Reporting to the VP & Country Manager, this individual will be responsible for delivering sales results against corporate targets, managing a defined list of prospects, and creating and maintaining client relationships across functional, operational, and executive contacts.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive revenue and margin growth across Technology and Services within defined account lists
  • Develop and execute territory and individual account plans to achieve sales targets
  • Maintain high-frequency client contact, manage sales funnels, and report on activity management
  • Accurately forecast sales performance by week, month, and quarter
  • Ensure Salesforce account hygiene and accuracy of account and opportunity details
  • Utilize company templates and brand standards to create and deliver customer proposals and solution presentation materials
  • Participate in the iON response to RFx opportunities and engage with technology partners and strategic alliances
  • Maintain minimum levels of sales/technical certifications offered by technology partners
  • Cultivate strong relationships with current and prospective customers through event attendance and professional representation of the iON brand


Requirements:

  • Post-secondary diploma or degree is considered an asset
  • 10+ years of account management experience
  • 5 years senior account management experience
  • 3+ years of network/cyber security sales experience
  • Ability to identify major account/enterprise contacts across Ontario
  • Working knowledge and experience with relevant technology and security solutions
  • Comfortable participating in virtual and in-person meetings
  • Demonstrated willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and industry trends
  • Intermediate to advanced capabilities in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word
  • Limited to moderate provincial and national travel may be required in the execution of this role
  • Attention to detail, professional communication skills, and exemplary written and presentation skills are essential
