Job Title: Supervisor, Dietitian Services Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supervisor, Dietitian Services to lead and coordinate the provision of nutrition care to patients in an assigned area at Abbotsford Regional Hospital and Cancer Centre. Job Summary: The Supervisor, Dietitian Services is responsible for leading and coordinating the provision of nutrition care to patients in an assigned area. This role oversees Dietitian services and liaises with program managers to support other clinical nutrition programs. Key Responsibilities: • Supervises designated staff by assigning work, providing feedback and evaluation, determining training needs, and implementing staff development plans. • Participates in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of Clinical Nutrition Services, including acute care, long-term care, out-patient counseling, and program-based clinical nutrition services. • Provides clinical direction and/or supervision to designated staff who provide direct patient care by determining appropriate nutrition intervention through physician/health team referral, risk screening, and/or patient assessment. • Develops, implements, evaluates, and provides clinical feedback on patient care plans. • Participates in the development of clinical goals and objectives for Dietitian Services and program-managed dietitian services by standardizing regional practices and policies. • Acts as a clinical resource to all dietitians and provides clinical direction in dietetic practice as required. • Performs quality improvement program duties by attending and participating in related meetings and/or conducting, implementing, and evaluating in-service sessions. Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Nutrition from a recognized educational institution and successful completion of an accredited dietetic internship program. • Four (4) years' recently related experience in clinical nutrition in an acute care setting, including one (1) year experience in a leadership/supervisory role. • Current registration with the College of Health and Care Professionals of British Columbia. • Meets additional qualifications as defined in Restricted Activities A, B, and C as set out in the College Bylaws.
