Job Summary

Fraser Health Authority is seeking a skilled Dietitian to join our Eating Disorder Program. As a member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide nutrition consultation to community members, agencies, and other health professionals. Your expertise will be essential in developing, coordinating, and presenting educational materials for diverse populations. You will also provide nutritional counseling and client-centered individual, family, and group counseling to child, youth, and adult clients within the program.

Responsibilities

- Provide nutrition education and consultation to clients, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members by developing, coordinating, and presenting education and education materials to specified target groups.
- Conduct comprehensive individual nutritional assessments, including a history of the eating disorder and current eating disorder behaviors, and provide nutritional care plans for community and inpatient clients.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to monitor and evaluate the provision of service and make recommendations regarding the nutritional component of the Eating Disorder Program and related goals, objectives, standards, and procedures.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics or Nutrition from an accredited university and successful completion of a community nutrition or dietetics internship program as approved by Dietitians of Canada (DOC).
- Two (2) years' recent related experience, including a focus on client-centered counseling of eating disordered clients, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Registration with the College of Dietitians of British Columbia and a valid BC Driver's license.
