Major Accountabilities (Including but not limited to the following)
Technical and Operations support
- Provide daily support on all equipment, including operational hardware.
- Ensure availability of necessary equipment and manage inventory of replacement parts and backup equipment.
- Maintain a robust inventory database of all equipment and parts.
- Responsible for procuring shop supplies, parts, and replacement equipment as directed.
- Assist with installing and servicing intersection cameras and other street-mounted equipment.
- Monitor equipment daily to ensure they are fully operational and address deficiencies.
- Provide calibration and testing services on equipment as required by the legislation and guidelines.
- Support and assist various departments as directed by the manager.
- Provide excellent customer service to internal and external clients.
- Other tasks assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma; additional technical certifications or vocational training in electronics or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in installing, maintaining, and repairing electronic equipment.
- Valid driver's license is required.
- Individuals with safety certification to work at heights or with fall protection will be given additional consideration.
Technical skills:
- Proficiency in working with electronic components, sensors, and cameras.
- Familiarity with networking principles and protocols.
- Ability to understand and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with team members and provide clear instructions.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong proficiency in using MS Office Suite, Office365 and other technology.
- Experience with SharePoint.
- Strong evidence of time management skills.

Work Conditions:
- This position a full-time, 40hr/week requirement
- This position works 8hr shifts, Monday to Friday (5 x 2)
