About the Job:
The Store Leader role is a hands-on experience that will develop your supervisory skills, coaching abilities, and business acumen. You will learn how to create success for a multi-million-dollar business, create and develop great teams, and build a meeting place in your community that nurtures customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction
- Lead and manage a team of baristas and store operators to achieve business objectives
- Coach and develop team members to improve their skills and performance
- Manage store operations, including inventory, scheduling, and customer service
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude, even in a fast-paced environment
Requirements:
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Minimum High School or GED
- Ability to communicate with coworkers and other departments with professionalism
- Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 15.88 kilograms/35 lbs and occasionally lift/move 22.68 kg/50lbs
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience as a barista, store operator, or store leader at Starbucks
- Knowledge of how to operate and program a point of sales (POS) system
- Food Safe Level 1 and WHIMIS certification
