JVL Automotive is seeking a highly motivated Sales Engineer to provide technical sales support to customers. The ideal candidate will identify customer needs and sales opportunities to maximize and grow sales. Key responsibilities include sales development, product demonstration, and assisting customers in recommending and specifying solutions. The Sales Engineer will also obtain RFQs, quote and follow up with customers, understand customer needs and target pricing, negotiate, and provide post-sale support. Additionally, the candidate will generate leads through attendance at trade shows, maintain relationships and favorable contacts with current and potential customers, and serve as an active member of the division management team. The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, a minimum of 5 years of experience in providing initial design assistance and selling engineered products, and excellent interpersonal, communication, and organization skills. Experience working in a remote office environment and with manufacturer reps is a plus. The Sales Engineer will work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and sales growth.
