About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Product Owner to join our growing DevOps team at Intact. As a key member of our team, you will play a leading role in developing our Platform As A Service to standardize, accelerate, and facilitate our work within the technical lifecycle of a product.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development effort by building the platform vision to an Agile delivery team, outlining and prioritizing work based on business value.
  • Be responsible for the business aspects of the project, ensuring the right products are developed.
  • Lead, plan, track, and be accountable for all phases of the product lifecycle from beginning to end.
  • Propose new product ideas, design, and develop concepts.
  • Communicate with stakeholders, internal and external, to define the product vision and strategy, ensuring their interests are included in the release.
  • Follow up with stakeholders on a need basis.
  • Inspire the team to deliver best-in-class products.
  • Be responsible for product evolution and technical debt.
  • Build and define a vision and long-term roadmap for the products in accordance with business and user needs and market trends.
  • Sell the vision to stakeholders.
Requirements
  • College or bachelor's degree in information technology or any combination of equivalent education and experience.
  • 5-7 years of experience as a Product Owner.
  • Expertise with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with source code management.
  • Experience with K8S as the runtime and container orchestrator.
  • Experience with Vault as the secret manager, password storage, etc.
  • Excellent understanding of Agile and DevOps.
  • Knowledge with Helm technology: common deployment charts.
  • Bilingualism (French and English) - Need to interact on a regular basis with colleagues across the country.
  • No Canadian work experience required, but must be eligible to work in Canada.
